The following recommendations are shared for prevention and safety of every coworker at Bejil-Ha. Our objective is risk reduction in the transmission of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19).
- General protocols
- Personal hygiene and protection
- Every person should carry out hand washing and disinfection procedures for 20 seconds as recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO).
- It has been placed in strategic points around our facilities, 70% alcohol-based disinfectant gel dispensers.
- Access to facilities
- Temperature reading
The temperature measurement is carried out for all people (clients and coworkers) from the point of the first face-to-face contact.
If temperature reading is equal or greater than 38°C (100°F), the right of admission is reserved, and the following indications will be provided prior to arrival:
- Visitors and coworkers are encouraged to go to the health center/unit that they consider appropiate if having any of the following strong symptoms:
- Difficulty breathing/shortness of breath
- Extreme tiredness
- Fever and aches and pains
- You can request rescheduling of your visit.
- You can request a refund if applicable, according to our booking policies.
3.2.2 Disinfection on access points
Disinfectant mats are available for visitors and coworkers’ footwear disinfection. Disinfectant solution is renewed at the beginning and during the tour.

Mass disinfection and cleaning contact surfaces in every common area and internal facilities will take place. Also, a record of all cleaning schedules will be kept and controlled.
These are the common areas to disinfect:
- Bathroom
- Benches, chairs and tables
- Common patio area and living room
- Doors, door knobs and ironwork
- Shopwindows and mirrors
- Floors
- Cleaning and disinfection of work equipment
- Before and after the activity
Disinfection of all operating equipment is carried out, as well as a check in the records of cleaning schedules.
These are the operating equipment to disinfect:
- Masks
- Life jackets
- Safety rings/buoys
- Bicycles (subject to the chosen route)
- Safety helmets (subject to the chosen route)
- Wetsuits (subject to the chosen route)
- Diving flashlights (subject to the chosen route)
All the equipment will be previously disinfected before delivered to you. It will be cleaned and sanitized immediately after every use.

It is very important our clients’ compromise and responsibility when visiting us. Take extrame precautions. Previous to your visit, we highly suggest the following:
If you are part of the considered vulnerable population (with any medical condition, with chronic, pulmonary or moderate to severe asthma, heart problems, obesity, diabetes, among others), in case the mentioned are not controlled.
We highly urge you to:
- Request the rescheduling of your visit if you do not feel physically well.
- Follow the personal hygiene recommendations and protocols.
- Use of adequate face masks or some other personal protection equipment that allows to safeguard your health and everyone else’s.

Asymptomatic people infected with COVID-19 increase the risk of contagion by not being detected, therefore, any interaction carried out by our clients with the general public is their responsibity, so we cannot guarantee that they will not be exposed to any contagion during their stay.
